Today isolated thundershowers (30%) are expected over the western and northwestern interior with light morning showers over the Transkei coast, otherwise partly cloudy over remainder of country except in Limpopo where sunny. Tomorrow a cold front causes showers and rain over Western Cape that spreads later to south coast. Associated with a surface trough over interior scattered thundershowers (60%) are expected over Northern and Eastern Cape and Free State, otherwise partly cloudy to fine over northern provinces. Friday the cold front moves to Eastern Cape where partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers over Drakensberg, otherwise sunny over remainder except partly cloudy over Mpumalanga, eastern Free State and western KZN. It will become warmer over western part of RSA. Saterday another cold front brings showers and rain to SW Cape coast and adjacent interior, otherwise sunny and cool to warm but partly cloudy over Mpumalanga where fog patches in morning over Escarpment. Sunday cold front moves to western half of Eastern Cape bringing rain and showers on south coast and adjacent interior that later spreads to southeast coast. It will be clearing from west over Western Cape and fine and cool to warm over remainder of RSA. Monday the high ridges behind cold front bringing rain and showers to Eastern Cape and cooler conditions to central parts of Northern Cape, otherwise sunny over remainder of RSA. Tuesday cloudy cooler conditions from ridging high spreads from Eastern Cape to KZN with rain and showers along coast and adjacent interior, otherwise it is sunny and warmer over remainder of RSA.
