Thursday: Upper air trough far to west of the country, with surface trough over the western interior. High pressure still advecting moisture over the north-eastern and central parts. Friday: Surface trough over the western interior, with weak upper air trough to west of RSA. Scattered to isolated thunder-showers are still expected over central and eastern interior Saturday: Cold front will move over the southern part, with an upper-air perturbation over the central interior. Isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers are expected over central and eastern part of the country. Sunday: A cold front will be moving over the south-eastern part, with an upper-air perturbation still over eastern part. Scattered to isolated showers and thundershowers are expected over the eastern part. Monday: A low will be situated east of Durban, resulting into cool maritime-air over the eastern part. Weak surface trough over western interior accompanied by an upper air ridge, will result in thundershowers over eastern part. Tuesday: A surface trough over western interior with a cold front southwest of Western Cape. Upper air ridge over eastern part. Isolated to scattered thundershowers are expected over central and north-eastern parts. Wednesday: A surface trough over western interior with a cold front southwest of Western Cape, which is being supported at the upper levels by an upper trough.
