01/16 - Website problems

As you will have witnessed in the last 3 weeks there have been times when the site has been unreachable. We have been experiencing intermittant hardware failure of our dedicated 1stweather.com webserver. We've been unable to uncover what the problem is without taking the server offline for an indefinite period.

Since this is not what we want nor do we want to continue the intermittant outages, we're currently undertaking an emergency move of the website and all associated backend production scripts that power www.1stweather.com to our main website server farm and hope to have this done before the weekend.

We aplogize for the hassles over the last three weeks, including corrupt data in the forecasts. Rest assured we have a team dedicated to getting this problem resolved ASAP.
